Responsibility

Requirements

  • Proficiency in the primary language of the caregiving environment and fluency in additional languages prevalent among clients.
  • In-depth understanding of diverse cultural practices, norms, and values and ability to navigate cultural nuances and adapt communication accordingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers.
  • High levels of empathy and sensitivity to the unique needs and experiences of individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Training or certification in interpretation services to ensure accurate and effective communication.
  • Background or education in cultural studies, anthropology, or a related field.
